before you buy it.

A receptionist that never misses a call. Fifteen recordings — booking, rescheduling, awkward questions, someone ringing at nine at night — each with the transcript running beside it. Listen first, then decide.

The recordings

Every call, start to finish.

The transcript runs beside the audio, line by line. Nothing is cut — each recording goes from the first ring to the outcome. Pick a sector, or take them in order.

Table for two, same evening

The party size changes mid-sentence, and one guest is coeliac rather than avoiding gluten.

ReceptionistGood evening, Luca’s Restaurant. Maya speaking. How can I help?

CallerHi, um... have you got any tables for tonight by any chance? I know it’s a bit last minute.

ReceptionistI can check that for you. How many people would it be?

CallerFour... actually, sorry, probably five. I’ve got one person doing that thing where they’re “not sure yet,” but let’s say five.

ReceptionistNo problem. What time were you hoping for?

CallerAround half seven, maybe eight-ish? We’re coming after work, so... yeah, not too early if possible.

ReceptionistFor five people, I have seven forty-five indoors, or eight fifteen on the covered terrace.

CallerSeven forty-five indoors would be perfect, actually. One of us hates being cold and makes it everyone else’s problem.

ReceptionistIndoors at seven forty-five. Got it. Any allergies or dietary requirements I should add?

CallerYeah, actually. One person is coeliac, so proper gluten-free. Not just, you know... “I’m avoiding bread this week.”

ReceptionistThank you, that’s helpful. I’ll mark it as coeliac, so the kitchen treats it as an allergy. What name should I put the booking under?

CallerSophie Clarke.

ReceptionistThanks, Sophie. Is the number you’re calling from the best one for the booking?

CallerYeah, this number’s fine.

ReceptionistPerfect. You’re booked for tonight at seven forty-five for five people, indoor table, under Sophie Clarke. I’ve added a note that one guest is coeliac, and we’ll send the confirmation by text.

CallerBrilliant. Thank you. You’ve sort of rescued the evening there.

ReceptionistGlad I could help. We’ll see you tonight.

CallerFour… actually, sorry, probably five. One of them’s doing that “not sure yet” thing.

ReceptionistNo problem — I’ll hold it for five, easier to drop one than add one. What time were you hoping for?

Interruptions, corrections, “um”s. It keeps up, and it never sighs.

Where it stops

CallerIs the physio able to look at a lump on my knee?

ReceptionistThat’s one for the clinician. I’ll pass you to Marta now — she’s free.

Questions

The ones we get asked.

Is this a real recording of a real customer?
No. All fifteen are scripted demonstrations recorded to show how the assistant handles each situation. The businesses in them are invented.
Can I hear it answer my own questions?
Not on this page — there is no live number here yet. Send the brief and we will set up a demo against your actual services and hours.
What happens when it cannot answer?
It stops and hands over. You get the caller's details and what they wanted, rather than a guess that has to be undone later.
Does it work outside opening hours?
That is most of the point. One recording is a call at ten past nine at night; another is the assistant calling a missed enquiry back.
Which languages does it speak?
The recordings here are English. Other languages are possible; ask in the brief and we will tell you honestly what is realistic.
Does it replace my receptionist?
It takes the routine calls so a person is not answering the same three questions all day. Anything needing judgement is handed over.
How does it connect to my booking system?
Through whatever the system exposes. Where there is no integration it writes the booking somewhere you already check.
What does it cost?
Fixed price and fixed scope, like everything else here. Send the brief and you get a number, not a range.

Heard enough?
Send the brief.
